Here are some of our favorites from a self-produced portfolio photoshoot at a roller skating rink with some rad collaborators. We were going for a 90s-inspired look with dramatic, eye-catching outfits and put them on wheels. It turned out even better than we imagined!

Our photo style goal was to mix an “point and shoot on camera flash” look with amazing practical lights at the rink and supplemental continuous lighting to enhance room tone and neon vibes.

The shoot was a true collaboration between so many different people. The models were awesome - they really got into character and brought so much energy and movement to the photos.

Eric Hernandez joined us as DP to capture the project with motion. Not only did he flex his camera and lighting skills, but his skating skills are just as impressive. I think he was in his happy place.

Wardrobe was on point - we had some seriously cool vintage pieces mixed in that fit the 90s theme perfectly.

Let's not forget about the location - the skating rink was the perfect backdrop for this shoot. It added an extra layer of fun and nostalgia to the photos.

Overall, we had a blast shooting these photos and we couldn't have done it without the whole team. It was totally tubular! So sit back, relax, and enjoy these totally epic shots from our 90s-inspired roller skating photoshoot.
