We’re no stranger to shooting athletes and products, but this shoot had the best of both worlds. Wild Dingo Studios worked their magic and helped produce this shoot in less than 2 weeks! We traveled to Charlotte, NC with an incredible crew that we couldn’t have done this without!
We had three photographers working simultaneously - Jason on the drag strip for the lifestyle shots, Todd inside for the standee shots, and Genya capturing BTS. Some challenges we worked through were weather changes throughout the day, making the drag strip look like the speedway, and limited time with talent for each set up. Directing celebrity talent can be intimidating to some, but if you can get their attention and build rapport, it makes it all worth it and you end up with amazing images.
Our ultimate goal was for it to look like the drivers had just finished a long day on the track and rewarded themselves with a nice refreshing Coca-Cola.
